Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular inspections of civil and structural construction sites to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and safety standards
- Monitor construction progress and quality of work, identifying and reporting any deviations or non-compliance issues
- Review and approve construction materials, methods, and workmanship according to technical specifications
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, documentation, and progress updates for project stakeholders
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other project team members to resolve technical issues
- Ensure adherence to local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to improve construction quality and efficiency
- Coordinate with relevant authorities for permits, approvals, and compliance documentation
Kualifikasi
- Registered as a Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) Professional Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Inspector of Work or similar role in civil/structural projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and approval processes in Malaysia
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
- Proficiency in using inspection tools, software, and documentation systems
