Join Remote Raven as a key player in our healthcare revenue cycle team! We're seeking a detail-oriented Insurance A/R Follow Up Specialist to manage complex insurance billing operations and ensure timely reimbursement. In this full-time remote role, you'll become an expert in navigating payer systems, resolving claim denials, and optimizing accounts receivable workflows. Tanggung Jawab
- Initiate and manage follow-up communications with insurance payers regarding outstanding claims and denials
- Investigate claim discrepancies by analyzing EOBs, billing codes, and payer policies
- Maintain accurate documentation of all A/R activities in billing systems
- Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve billing inquiries and claim issues
- Monitor aging reports and prioritize high-value accounts for strategic follow-up
- Process appeals for denied claims with supporting documentation
- Track and report key performance metrics for A/R resolution
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- 1+ years of experience in medical billing or insurance follow-up
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and MS Office Suite
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with insurance payers
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems
- Ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume transaction processing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
