In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our Australian clients, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and excellence in service delivery.
As an Intermediate Bookkeeper, you will handle end-to-end bookkeeping processes, complex reconciliations, and payroll administration. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping cycles for a diverse portfolio of Australian clients.
- Perform accurate bank and credit card reconciliations on a weekly or monthly basis.
- Process payroll, including superannuation calculations and PAYG withholding requirements.
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Installment Activity Statements (IAS).
- Ensure compliance with ATO regulations and internal quality standards.
- Generate monthly financial reports including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets for client review.
- Collaborate with senior accountants to resolve complex ledger discrepancies.
- Maintain impeccable digital records and documentation for audit readiness.
Kualifikasi
- At least 3-5 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Solid experience working with Australian-based clients or firms is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Online.
- Strong understanding of Australian taxation laws, specifically BAS/IAS and payroll processing.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and financial inconsistencies.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote/distributed team setting.
