Are you an experienced Accountant with a deep understanding of the Australian taxation system? Staff X is looking for a talented Intermediate to Senior AU Tax Accountant to join our remote team. In this role, you will play a critical part in providing high-quality accounting and tax compliance services to our Australian-based clients. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and delivering strategic tax advice. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment and who possesses the technical expertise to handle complex AU tax matters with ease.

Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and lodge accurate individual, partnership, trust, and company tax returns for Australian clients.
- Manage financial reporting, including the preparation of Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
- Ensure full compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations and deadlines.
- Conduct thorough reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and loan accounts.
- Assist clients with BAS (Business Activity Statement) preparation and IAS lodgments.
- Utilize cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) for daily bookkeeping tasks.
- Provide proactive tax planning advice and identify potential tax-saving opportunities for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve accounting queries and provide status updates.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Australian taxation and accounting.
- Solid understanding of Australian tax laws, superannuation, and payroll regulations.
- Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks Online is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with an uncompromising eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for client-facing interaction.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Stable home-based internet setup and professional remote working environment.
