Turner & Townsend is a global leader in project management, consultancy, and construction management. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Quantity Surveying and Cost Management team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in one of the world's most dynamic construction markets. As an Intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals to support our project controls and commercial management functions. You will gain exposure to various aspects of the cost management lifecycle, including cost planning, procurement, and contract administration. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for diverse projects.
- Monitor project expenditure against the budget and prepare regular variance reports.
- Support the commercial team in the preparation of tender documentation and tender analysis.
- Conduct cost analysis for materials, resources, and subcontractor quotations.
- Assist in the preparation of interim valuations and final accounts.
- Update project cost databases and ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Quantity Surveying, Quantity Surveying (Honours), or Civil Engineering.
- Strong interest in cost management, construction economics, or quantity surveying principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
