We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internship - Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Kelana Jaya, Selangor. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced surveyors and project managers, supporting various aspects of the cost control process. You will be exposed to real-world projects, learning how to measure construction works, prepare bills of quantities (BOQ), and assist in contract administration. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation, checking, and submission of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documents.
- Conduct site visits to measure completed works and verify progress against project schedules.
- Monitor project costs, including analyzing variation orders and processing contractor claims.
- Prepare monthly progress reports, cost forecasts, and budget updates for internal review.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors to clarify technical queries and ensure accurate documentation.
- Assist in the procurement process by preparing material schedules and preliminary cost estimates.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, correspondence, and filing systems.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Quantity Surveying Technology, or Construction Management.
- Strong understanding of construction terminology, building methods, and industry standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or other drafting software is a plus.
