Nufarm, a global leader in crop protection and specialized chemical solutions, is offering an exciting Internship opportunity in Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) & Quality Management at our Port Klang facility.
This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about maintaining world-class safety standards and operational excellence. You will work alongside experienced professionals to ensure our manufacturing processes comply with strict internal and international regulatory standards. You will gain hands-on experience in risk assessment, quality audits, and environmental sustainability initiatives in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the SHE department in conducting routine safety inspections and site walkthroughs.
- Support the quality management team in updating documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in risk assessment exercises (HIRARC) and incident investigation reporting.
- Help monitor and maintain environmental compliance records, including waste management and emissions tracking.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of safety training materials for site personnel.
- Support internal audit preparation and ensure document control systems are up to date.
- Help track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to health, safety, and quality metrics.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 (Quality) or ISO 45001 (OH&S) standards is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex safety guidelines into clear instructions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and data analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional industrial setting.
- A proactive attitude towards learning safety protocols and quality systems.
