Thong Guan Industries Berhad is seeking a motivated Jr ESG/Sustainability Executive to join our team in Sungai Petani. This role is perfect for an accounting or finance-minded individual looking to pivot into the high-growth field of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting.

In this role, you will be the backbone of our data collection processes, ensuring our ESG reporting aligns with international standards while maintaining the financial integrity expected of our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to track emissions, social impact metrics, and governance compliance, turning raw data into actionable insights for our stakeholders.
Tanggung Jawab
- Collect, organize, and analyze ESG data across various operational departments.
- Prepare accurate financial and non-financial reports to support sustainability audits.
- Monitor compliance with local environmental regulations and internal corporate sustainability policies.
- Assist in the preparation of the Annual Sustainability Report according to Bursa Malaysia requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors and consultants to provide necessary documentation for sustainability certifications.
- Perform quantitative analysis of energy usage, waste management, and social initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in sustainability reporting workflows.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or data-driven analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is mandatory.
- Basic understanding of ESG frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, or TCFD) is highly advantageous.
- High level of integrity, analytical mindset, and extreme attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to interpret financial data and map it to sustainability key performance indicators (KPIs).
