Fragomen is a global leader in immigration services, and we are seeking a motivated Junior Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance shared services team in Kuala Lumpur. In this entry-level role, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by ensuring accurate processing of financial transactions and supporting the broader finance function.
As a Junior Finance Assistant, you will gain hands-on experience in a supportive team structure, working alongside experienced professionals. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with invoice processing, conducting billing reviews, and managing accounts payable and receivable workflows. As you develop your skills, you will gain exposure to month-end closing procedures, bank reconciliations, and the preparation of financial reports. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn, possesses a strong aptitude for numbers, and is ready to contribute to our continued success in the region.
Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the processing and verification of invoices, ensuring accuracy in billing reviews and coding.
- Manage day-to-day accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks and workflows.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing required schedules and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management packs.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation in the company's ERP system (e.g., SAP).
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding billing inquiries and payments.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply; this is an entry-level position.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
