Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement kiln drying schedules aligned with production targets and material specifications
- Monitor and control kiln parameters (temperature, humidity, airflow) to achieve optimal moisture content (MC)
- Conduct regular quality checks on dried wood materials to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Coordinate with procurement teams to verify wood supply meets moisture requirements before processing
- Maintain detailed records of drying processes, outcomes, and equipment performance metrics
- Identify and troubleshoot drying defects or technical issues in kiln operations
- Train and guide junior staff on proper kiln operation and safety protocols
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial wood kiln drying operations
- Technical certification in wood science, forestry, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in moisture content measurement tools and drying equipment operation
- Strong understanding of wood properties, drying principles, and quality control standards
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, drying schedules, and material specifications
- Problem-solving skills with experience in optimizing drying processes
- Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures for kiln systems
