Tanggung Jawab
- Provide accurate and real-time interpretation (simultaneous and consecutive) during meetings, presentations, negotiations, and informal discussions between Korean-speaking leadership/expatriates and Indonesian-speaking employees.
- Translate various documents including business correspondence, reports, presentations, technical manuals, and marketing materials from Korean to Indonesian/English and vice versa, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
- Facilitate cross-cultural communication by explaining cultural nuances and etiquette to both Korean and Indonesian parties, fostering better understanding and collaboration.
- Support daily operational communication needs, ensuring smooth information flow across different departments such as Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, and HR.
- Assist in coordinating schedules and logistics for meetings and events involving Korean directors, ensuring all communication requirements are met.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all interpreted and translated materials and discussions.
- Act as a reliable communication point for Korean expatriates for any language-related assistance required in their daily work.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Korean Language, Linguistics, International Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) as a professional Korean Interpreter or Translator in a corporate setting, preferably within the retail, consumer goods, or multinational industry.
- Exceptional fluency in Korean (both spoken and written, native or TOPIK Level 5/6), English (professional working proficiency), and Indonesian (native or professional working proficiency).
- Strong understanding of Korean and Indonesian business culture, etiquette, and professional communication styles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills with the ability to convey messages clearly and accurately.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with translation memory tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
