As a Land Management Officer I, you will be responsible for the execution of land administration, survey, titling, and property management functions. Your work will directly impact the economic development and social equity of communities across the Bicol Region. You will process applications for land patents, conduct rigorous field surveys to verify boundaries and usage, and maintain accurate land records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process applications for free patents, sales patents, leases, and other public land instruments in compliance with existing laws and regulations.
  • Conduct on-site field inspections, geodetic surveys, and mapping to determine land boundaries, classification, and actual usage.
  • Evaluate and verify technical descriptions, survey returns, and other supporting documents for land titling and registration.
  • Maintain and update cadastral maps, land management databases, and official filing systems with meticulous accuracy.
  • Coordinate closely with Local Government Units (LGUs), the DENR, and other national government agencies on land use matters.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to landowners, beneficiaries, and stakeholders regarding land administration procedures.
  • Assist in the preliminary investigation and resolution of land conflicts and boundary disputes by providing objective technical data.
  • Prepare periodic reports, endorsements, and internal recommendations on active land management cases and projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geodetic Engineering, Land Surveying, Forestry, Agriculture, or a related field of study.
  • Must be a Licensed Geodetic Engineer (RA 1080) or a holder of Career Service Professional (CSP) eligibility.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant working experience in land management, real estate, surveying, or property administration.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Property Registration Decree (PD 1529), the Public Land Act (CA 141), and other applicable land laws.
  • Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), AutoCAD Civil 3D, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Willingness and physical fitness to conduct extensive fieldwork in varying terrains and climates across the Bicol Region.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Filipino, with strong interpersonal abilities.
