DSH Institute of Technology is seeking a dedicated Lecturer to join our academic team in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in equipping students with the essential skills required for the evolving construction and safety sectors. You will deliver high-quality instruction, facilitate hands-on training, and mentor students as they prepare for their professional certifications. Tanggung Jawab
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures for OSH, Environmental Health, and Pest Control modules at the SKM Level 3 standard.
- Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and practical training modules to meet current industry standards.
- Provide mentorship and academic support to students, ensuring they remain on track to achieve their vocational goals.
- Conduct practical assessments and evaluate student performance in both laboratory and field training environments.
- Maintain compliance with JPK (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran) requirements and institutional quality standards.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members to improve pedagogical strategies and student engagement.
- Supervise students during industrial training placements and off-site practical projects.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- Must hold an active VTO (Vocational Training Officer) certificate or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven industry experience in OSH, Environmental Health, or Pest Control operations.
- Strong understanding of SKM (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia) curriculum and accreditation processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse student groups.
- Highly organized with a passion for vocational education and student development.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural academic environment in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.
