We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Legal & Compliance Manager to join a rapidly expanding investment and asset management platform. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the guardian of our regulatory framework, ensuring our operations align with local and international laws while supporting the firm's aggressive growth trajectory. You will work closely with the investment team to structure complex deals, manage fund governance, and mitigate legal risks effectively.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the day-to-day legal and compliance operations, ensuring strict adherence to MAS regulations and industry standards.
- Manage the full lifecycle of fund documentation, including Private Placement Memorandums (PPMs), Investment Management Agreements (IMAs), and subscription agreements.
- Conduct comprehensive compliance risk assessments and internal audits to identify vulnerabilities in operational processes.
- Provide expert advisory services to the investment committee and senior management on legal implications of new business initiatives and regulatory changes.
- Ensure robust Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures are maintained across all client onboarding and transaction activities.
- Prepare and file necessary regulatory reports and statutory filings with relevant authorities in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and enhance the firm's risk management framework.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) and a valid practicing certificate (or equivalent foreign qualification recognized in Singapore).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in a Legal Counsel, Compliance Manager, or Fund Governance role within the financial services or asset management sector.
- Deep understanding of the Investment Funds industry, including UCITS, AIFMD, or local Singapore fund regulations.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance frameworks applicable to asset management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Professional certifications such as CAMS, CCAR, or similar compliance designations are highly preferred.
