Thai Union Group is seeking a highly motivated Legal Counsel to join our operational team in Lamongan, Jawa Timur. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in safeguarding the company’s interests by managing complex legal matters, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic counsel to various business units.
The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in corporate law and litigation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to draft, review, and negotiate contracts, mitigate risks, and provide comprehensive legal support for our on-site operations. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and oversee all legal litigation processes, representing the company’s interests in various forums.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of commercial contracts, service agreements, and operational documents.
- Ensure full compliance with Indonesian labor laws, maritime regulations, and environmental standards relevant to our industry.
- Provide proactive legal advice to management regarding daily business operations and risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain and organize legal documentation, ensuring all company filings are accurate and up-to-date.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and government authorities as required for regulatory permits and licensing.
- Conduct legal research to stay updated on changes in legislation that may impact the company's activities.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (S1 Hukum) from a reputable university; a Master’s degree (S2) is considered an advantage.
- Possession of a valid Advocate license (PERADI) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or as an in-house legal counsel.
- Deep understanding of Indonesian corporate law, labor law, and litigation procedures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal texts and provide actionable advice.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Indonesian and English.
- High integrity, professional ethics, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to be based in Lamongan, Jawa Timur.
