Tanggung Jawab
- Provide authoritative legal advice on maritime transactions, regulatory compliance, and operational risks across APAC jurisdictions
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex maritime contracts including charter parties, bills of lading, and service agreements
- Advise on cross-border legal matters, dispute resolution, and regulatory changes impacting APAC operations
- Develop and implement legal strategies to support business expansion and risk mitigation initiatives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on compliance programs and legal training for regional teams
- Manage external counsel relationships and oversee litigation/arbitration proceedings as needed
- Monitor and analyze evolving maritime regulations across APAC markets
Kualifikasi
- Admitted to bar with LLB or equivalent law degree; postgraduate qualifications preferred
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in maritime law or shipping-related legal practice
- Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating international commercial contracts
- Deep understanding of APAC regulatory environments and legal systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business solutions
- Fluency in English with proficiency in at least one APAC language (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, etc.)
- Experience working in multinational corporations or international law firms
