In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of IP rights, including trademark and patent filings. You will be responsible for ensuring all administrative and legal documentation is accurate, timely, and fully compliant with Malaysian regulations. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation, filing, and prosecution of trademark and patent applications in Malaysia and internationally.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal correspondence, notices, and agreements.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records of client interactions and deadlines.
- Coordinate with external counsel, government agencies (JUPEH), and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare monthly reports and manage billing/invoicing processes.
- Provide administrative support to senior partners and legal executives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Diploma in Legal Studies.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a legal firm, preferably within the Intellectual Property sector.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and strict adherence to deadlines.
- Valid Practising Certificate (if applicable) or strong academic background.
