Tanggung Jawab
- Advise on legal compliance for payment gateway operations and financial transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors, partners, and clients
- Ensure adherence to local and international fintech regulations (e.g., Bank Negara Malaysia, PCI DSS)
- Manage legal risks associated with product development and service offerings
- Conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships
- Develop internal policies for data privacy and anti-money laundering compliance
- Represent the company in regulatory interactions and dispute resolutions
- Support market expansion initiatives with jurisdiction-specific legal guidance
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Law with admission to the Malaysian Bar
- Minimum 3 years of in-house legal experience in tech/fintech sector
- Expertise in payment systems regulations and financial compliance frameworks
- Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills with commercial awareness
- Proficient in data protection laws (PDPA) and cybersecurity regulations
- Ability to work independently in remote environments with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical skills for complex regulatory problem-solving
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia with clear written communication
