We are seeking a dynamic Legal Head to serve as the Company's general counsel. Tanggung Jawab
- Provide strategic legal counsel to executive leadership and board members on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management
- Oversee all legal aspects of contracts, agreements, and commercial transactions
- Manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution proceedings
- Develop and implement corporate policies ensuring regulatory compliance with Philippine laws and international maritime regulations
- Lead the legal department including recruitment, training, and performance management of legal staff
- Advise on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring initiatives
- Establish relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and external legal counsel
Kualifikasi
- Admitted to the Philippine Bar with at least 10 years of post-admission legal experience
- Minimum 5 years in senior legal management role with proven leadership capabilities
- Extensive knowledge of corporate law, maritime regulations, and commercial compliance
- Experience managing legal teams and external counsel relationships
- Strong negotiation skills with track record of complex contract management
- Relevant experience in logistics, shipping, or transportation industry preferred
- Master's degree in Law or relevant certification (e.g., ICSI) highly desirable
