Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee all legal aspects of retail operations, mall management, and tenant agreements
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, leases, and vendor partnerships
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian commercial law, consumer protection regulations, and mall-specific statutes
- Manage litigation, disputes, and regulatory inquiries related to retail activities
- Develop corporate governance policies and legal frameworks for expansion initiatives
- Advise on risk management strategies for retail promotions, marketing campaigns, and customer interactions
- Lead legal audits and implement compliance training programs for retail staff
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Law with admission to the Malaysian Bar (LLB)
- Minimum 8 years of legal experience with 3+ years in retail or real estate law
- Proven expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution
- Deep understanding of Malaysian commercial law, consumer protection, and property regulations
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate legal concepts into business strategies
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing legal teams or projects
- Certification in corporate governance or compliance management preferred
