Lippo Malls Indonesia is the leading mall operator in Indonesia, managing a diverse portfolio of retail assets across the archipelago. We are currently seeking a meticulous and highly motivated Legal Officer to join our management team at Tamini Square in East Jakarta. This is a critical role designed for a legal professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and possesses a sharp eye for detail in contract management and corporate compliance.
As a Legal Officer, you will serve as the primary safeguard for the company’s operational interests. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of legal documentation, ranging from initial drafting to the final execution of lease agreements and corporate partnerships. Beyond documentation, you will provide essential legal guidance to the mall's management team, ensuring that all activities align with current Indonesian regulations and company policies. Tanggung Jawab
- Draft, review, and finalize various legal documents, including lease agreements, addendum agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Prepare and manage manpower cooperation agreements and ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws.
- Issue and monitor formal legal notices and warning letters to tenants or third parties in accordance with company policy.
- Conduct legal research and provide advisory services to mall management regarding operational risks and regulatory changes.
- Manage the administrative aspects of corporate licensing and permit renewals for Tamini Square operations.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel or government authorities when necessary for litigation or administrative matters.
- Ensure all company contracts are filed systematically and maintain an updated legal database for reporting.
- Support the procurement team in reviewing legal terms for service level agreements (SLAs).
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (SH) from a reputable university with a strong academic background.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Legal Officer, preferably within the property, retail, or hospitality industry.
- Proficient in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Solid understanding of Indonesian Civil Law, Land Law, and Labor Regulations.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate legal complexities to non-legal stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, detail-oriented, and capable of working under tight deadlines.
- Active member of PERADI (Indonesian Bar Association) is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Residing in or willing to work in Jakarta Timur (Tamini Square area).
