About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Liaison Officer to join our growing team in Cabuyao City, Laguna. In this key role, you will be the primary driver of our regulatory compliance and document processing operations, ensuring that all transactions with government agencies and permitting bodies are handled efficiently and without delay.
As a Liaison Officer within the Retail and Consumer Products industry, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of business permits, licenses, and legal documents. Your work will directly support our operational continuity by guaranteeing full compliance with local and national regulations. This role is perfect for a proactive problem-solver who is skilled at navigating government processes and thrives in a fast-paced, fieldwork-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Permit Management: Process, renew, and release all business permits and licenses (Mayor's Permit, SEC, BIR, DTI, etc.).
- Government Coordination: Act as the main liaison between the company and various government offices (LGU, PEZA, BOI).
- Document Filing: Prepare, notarize, and submit legal documents, contracts, and corporate records.
- Compliance Tracking: Maintain an organized database to track permit expirations and regulatory deadlines.
- Employee Benefits: Facilitate government-mandated benefits processing (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) for employees.
- Stakeholder Updates: Coordinate with internal teams for document requirements and provide regular status reports to management.
- Policy Monitoring: Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the retail sector and advise management accordingly.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the application, renewal, and release of government permits and business licenses from LGU, BIR, SEC, and DTI.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all government agency transactions and inquiries.
- Ensure all legal documents, contracts, and affidavits are properly notarized and filed.
- Develop and maintain a tracking system for all regulatory deadlines and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate the processing of employee government benefits and other personnel documentation.
- Provide regular progress reports on permit status and compliance activities to senior management.
- Monitor and communicate updates on government policies and regulations that impact business operations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, Legal Management, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Liaison Officer or in a similar documentation/compliance role.
- In-depth knowledge of government processes and requirements (LGU, BIR, SEC, DTI, PEZA).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willing to conduct fieldwork and travel across Laguna, Cavite, and Metro Manila.
- Must be a resident of Cabuyao, Laguna or willing to relocate.
