The Municipal Government of Norzagaray, Bulacan is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Local Assessment Operations Officer I. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate property assessments, revenue generation, and upholding the integrity of local tax administration within the region.
In this position, you will play a critical role in the technical assessment of real properties, ensuring compliance with existing laws, rules, and regulations mandated by the Local Government Code. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, conduct field inspections, and maintain organized documentation to support the municipality's fiscal health. We are looking for a proactive individual who values public service and has a strong foundation in property appraisal and taxation procedures.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct systematic field inspections of real properties for assessment and appraisal purposes.
- Prepare accurate tax declarations and assessment reports in compliance with local ordinances.
- Analyze property data to ensure the equitable distribution of tax burdens.
- Coordinate with taxpayers to address inquiries regarding property valuation and tax assessment procedures.
- Maintain and update official property records, databases, and filing systems to ensure data integrity.
- Monitor and report on collection targets and assessment performance metrics.
- Assist in the review and verification of real estate documents and ownership records.
- Provide technical support to the head of the Assessment Department regarding valuation standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geodetic Engineering, Architecture, Commerce, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in property assessment, appraisal, or local government administration is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and basic database management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Must possess a valid Civil Service Eligibility (Professional) or equivalent PRC license.
