PT Lotte Shopping Indonesia (LOTTE Grosir) and PT Lotte Mart Indonesia (LOTTE Mart) are seeking a dynamic Local Buyer specializing in Fresh Food to join our retail operations in Pekanbaru. As a key player in our supply chain, you'll source high-quality fresh produce, dairy, meat, and perishables from local suppliers while maintaining rigorous quality standards and cost efficiency. This role demands market-savvy negotiation skills, vendor relationship expertise, and a deep understanding of Indonesian agricultural landscapes. You'll collaborate with store operations to optimize inventory turnover, reduce waste, and ensure our shelves consistently meet customer expectations for freshness and variety. Tanggung Jawab
- Source and procure fresh food products from local farmers, suppliers, and markets
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors
- Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality control, and regulatory standards
- Coordinate logistics for timely delivery and optimal product freshness
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and producers
- Analyze sales data and inventory levels to adjust purchasing strategies
- Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in retail or food industry
- Deep knowledge of Pekanbaru's fresh food market and supplier networks
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Certification in food safety (HACCP/SQF) preferred
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and procurement software
- Ability to analyze market trends and pricing data
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
