Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement local disaster risk reduction and management plans aligned with national policies and guidelines
- Coordinate with national agencies, local government units, and stakeholders for effective disaster preparedness and response operations
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential hazards in the region
- Organize and lead disaster risk reduction training programs and community awareness campaigns
- Monitor weather conditions, early warning systems, and emergency alerts to ensure timely response
- Prepare comprehensive reports on disaster incidents, program outcomes, and resource utilization
- Manage disaster response operations including evacuation, relief distribution, and emergency shelter coordination
- Establish and maintain partnerships with relevant organizations for enhanced disaster management capabilities
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Sociology, or related fields from a recognized institution
- Knowledge of Republic Act 10121 (Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act) and related regulations
- Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats for reports and presentations
- Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions during emergency situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data management systems
- Experience in government administrative procedures and protocols is an advantage
- Must be a Filipino citizen and meet the required civil service eligibility requirements
