We are representing a leading Multinational Corporation (MNC) in the construction industry, renowned for delivering iconic mega-scale infrastructure and building projects. They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced M&E Engineer to join their dynamic team and oversee works in the East Region. As an M&E Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of construction projects from inception to completion. Your expertise will be crucial in managing all mechanical and electrical aspects, ensuring strict adherence to the project timeline, budget, and stringent quality standards. You will serve as the key technical point of contact on site, solving complex engineering challenges, leading a team of supervisors, and driving operational excellence in every phase of the build.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sub-contractors, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring all M&E installations comply with the rigorous regulations set by BCA, SCDF, PUB, EMA, NEA, and LTA. You will also be deeply involved in design reviews, material procurement, testing & commissioning, and the eventual handover process. A solid understanding of Green Mark requirements and sustainable construction practices will be a distinct advantage.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and coordinate all M&E works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and regulatory standards.
- Manage M&E subcontractors, monitoring their progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety practices.
- Liaise with consultants, architects, and main contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of M&E systems.
- Review M&E shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions for timely approval.
- Ensure strict compliance with BCA, SCDF, PUB, EMA, NEA, and LTA regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of M&E systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Prepare progress reports, monitor project schedules, and assist in contract administration and variation orders.
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure smooth project handover and close-out documentation.
Kualifikasi
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of M&E experience in the construction industry.
- Proven track record of working on large-scale building projects (e.g., minimum 26,000 sqm).
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations (BCA, SCDF, PUB, EMA, NEA, LTA).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with project management software and BIM is an added advantage.
- Willing to be based at construction sites in the East Region of Singapore.
