Are you a detail-oriented insurance professional looking to make a strategic impact? MSIG is currently seeking a highly motivated Manager or Assistant Manager for Technical Services to join our dynamic team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will act as a key liaison and advisor for our Managing General Agents (MGAs), ensuring that all business operations align with our rigorous corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and technical underwriting guidelines.
As part of our Technical Services department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining underwriting integrity and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for reviewing MGA performance, monitoring technical compliance, and fostering strong collaborative relationships with external partners. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical insurance acumen, analytical prowess, and the communication skills necessary to bridge the gap between complex insurance regulations and operational execution.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and monitor the day-to-day operations of Managing General Agents (MGAs) to ensure alignment with underwriting guidelines.
- Conduct regular technical audits and quality assurance reviews on MGA portfolios to ensure adherence to risk management policies.
- Provide operational guidance and support to MGAs to ensure business is conducted prudently and efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal departments including Underwriting, Compliance, and Claims to resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Prepare comprehensive management reports and performance dashboards for senior leadership regarding MGA activities.
- Identify potential underwriting risks and implement corrective actions in consultation with stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local insurance regulations and ensure all MGA activities remain compliant.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in the general insurance industry, specifically within technical underwriting, operations, or internal audit.
- Strong understanding of MGA structures and general insurance product management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to influence and manage relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and insurance management systems.
- Strong communication skills in English; ability to present complex technical information clearly.
