MSIG is seeking a dynamic Manager / Assistant Manager, Technical Services to join our team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for supporting all Managing General Agents (MGAs) to ensure that business operations are conducted prudently, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical service strategies that enhance operational excellence and drive business growth. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented professional to make a significant impact within a leading general insurance organization.

Key aspects of the role include providing expert technical guidance to MGA partners, reviewing and improving business processes, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and industry regulations. You will also be involved in identifying opportunities for service optimization and implementing best practices across all MGA relationships.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Support and oversee all Managing General Agents (MGAs) business activities to ensure prudent and efficient operations
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to MGA partners on underwriting, policy administration, and claims processes
  • Review and enhance business processes to improve operational efficiency and service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with MGA stakeholders through effective communication and support
  • Identify and implement best practices and process improvements across MGA operations
  • Prepare reports, analytics, and recommendations for senior management review

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably with exposure to Managing General Agents
  • Strong understanding of underwriting, policy servicing, and claims management processes
  • Proven track record in relationship management and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities
  • Familiarity with Singapore insurance regulations and compliance requirements
  • Professional insurance certifications (e.g., ASC, ANZIIF) would be advantageous
