MSIG is looking for a dynamic Manager / Assistant Manager, Technical Services to support the oversight of all Managing General Agent (MGA) related business. The incumbent will play a crucial role in ensuring that all MGA operations are conducted with the highest level of prudence, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for the technical stewardship of MGA portfolios, ensuring that risk profiles are accurately assessed and managed in line with market standards. Your work will directly impact the operational excellence of our insurance services, requiring a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to risk mitigation. We value candidates who can drive process improvements and foster strong relationships with MGAs and internal stakeholders alike.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and support the operations of all Managing General Agents (MGAs), ensuring business conduct is prudent and efficient.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and reviews of MGA submissions to ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and ensure strict compliance with local insurance regulations (e.g., MAS guidelines) and internal governance frameworks.
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports, risk dashboards, and analytics to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and MGAs to resolve complex technical queries and optimize operational workflows.
- Develop and implement best practices for technical service delivery to enhance overall efficiency and service quality.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in technical underwriting, insurance operations, or MGA management within the financial services sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Singapore’s insurance regulatory landscape and comprehensive risk management principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate insights.
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CII, CAS, or equivalent) are a distinct advantage.
