Synchrony is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Manager, Controllership (L08) to join our dynamic team in Muntinlupa City. In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our non-funding client settlement operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity across our merchant and cardholder portfolios.
You will lead critical financial processes, including merchant adjustments, complex cardholder research, and suspense clearing, while driving process improvements to streamline our controllership activities. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage end-to-end non-funding client settlement activities to ensure strict adherence to financial policies.
- Analyze and resolve merchant adjustments, ensuring accurate reconciliation and timely reporting.
- Lead complex cardholder research initiatives to identify discrepancies and provide robust solutions.
- Supervise the suspense clearing process, ensuring all outstanding items are investigated and resolved within defined SLAs.
- Coordinate and initiate wire transfers and other high-value financial movements with precision.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and accuracy.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership regarding controllership status and financial risks.
- Foster a culture of compliance and continuous learning within the accounting department.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA license preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in controllership, general accounting, or financial operations.
- Strong expertise in settlement processes, account reconciliation, and financial auditing.
- Proficiency in financial software (ERP systems) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume transactional data with minimal errors.
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance in a financial services environment.
