Join Forvis Mazars as a Manager in our dynamic Restructuring & Insolvency (Corporate Recovery) practice. Lead complex corporate turnaround initiatives and guide distressed businesses through financial recovery challenges. You'll work with multinational corporations and SMEs to develop bespoke restructuring strategies, negotiate creditor agreements, and implement operational recovery plans. This senior role requires expertise in Malaysian insolvency frameworks, financial modeling, and stakeholder management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates will thrive in high-pressure environments and possess a proven track record in navigating financial distress scenarios.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end corporate restructuring assignments including turnaround planning and debt restructuring
- Lead insolvency proceedings including liquidations, administrations, and voluntary arrangements
- Develop financial models, viability assessments, and recovery roadmaps for distressed entities
- Coordinate with legal teams to ensure compliance with insolvency legislation and regulations
- Advise stakeholders on creditor negotiations, asset realizations, and capital restructuring
- Prepare court reports and statutory documentation for insolvency filings
- Mentor junior team members while maintaining client relationships and business development
Kualifikasi
- Professional accounting qualification (CA/ACMA/ACCA) or relevant finance degree
- 5+ years' experience in restructuring, insolvency, or corporate recovery
- Deep understanding of Malaysian insolvency laws (Companies Act 2016)
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills with Excel proficiency
- Experience managing distressed company portfolios and creditor negotiations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Proven leadership in cross-functional project environments
