Join PT Gelindo Garmentama as a Mandarin Translator and become a vital communication bridge between Chinese and Indonesian stakeholders. In this role, you will ensure seamless linguistic accuracy across written documents, verbal communications, and business negotiations. We seek a detail-oriented professional with exceptional fluency in both Mandarin and Indonesian to support our international operations and enhance cross-cultural collaboration.
Your responsibilities will include translating technical garment specifications, marketing materials, and legal documents while maintaining cultural nuances. You'll facilitate real-time interpretation during meetings, train staff on bilingual communication protocols, and maintain a centralized glossary of industry-specific terminology. Tanggung Jawab
- Translate technical garment specifications, contracts, and marketing materials between Mandarin and Indonesian
- Provide consecutive interpretation during business meetings and client negotiations
- Develop and maintain bilingual glossaries for industry-specific terminology
- Proofread and edit translated content for linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness
- Coordinate with production teams to clarify technical specifications in both languages
- Support HR in onboarding Mandarin-speaking staff through translation services
- Assist in preparing bilingual presentations and corporate communications
Kualifikasi
- Native-level fluency in Mandarin and Indonesian (both written and verbal)
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field
- Minimum 2 years professional translation/interpretation experience
- Proven expertise in garment industry terminology
- Certification in professional translation (e.g., ATA, CATTI) preferred
- Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
- Proficiency in CAT tools (Trados, MemoQ) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under tight deadlines
