PT PMA IMT is seeking an experienced and hands-on Furniture Production Manager to lead our custom furniture manufacturing operations in Bali. This is a key in-house role responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from raw material sourcing and workshop scheduling to final quality control and client delivery.
As the Production Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of craftsmen and production staff, ensuring that every piece of furniture meets our high standards of design and craftsmanship. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a deep technical understanding of furniture manufacturing who can optimize workflows, manage resources efficiently, and drive continuous improvement.
Our workshop handles a diverse range of high-end custom projects. You will be working closely with our design team and international clientele to bring complex pieces to life. This role demands a proactive leader who can troubleshoot challenges on the workshop floor, implement lean manufacturing principles, and foster a collaborative and productive team culture.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily workshop operations and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of custom furniture projects.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of skilled carpenters, finishers, and production staff.
- Implement and maintain strict quality control standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Manage inventory of raw materials (timber, hardware, finishes) and coordinate with suppliers.
- Collaborate with designers and clients to translate design specifications into manufacturable products.
- Optimize production workflows to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the workshop.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical guidance to the team.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Deep understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, machinery, and finishing processes.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design schematics.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with production planning, inventory management, and cost control.
- Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and safety standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to be based in Bali and work full-time in a hands-on production environment.
