- Underwrite marine insurance policies for Hull & Machinery and cargo segments with rigorous risk assessment methodologies
- Develop and maintain profitable underwriting portfolios while adhering to risk appetite frameworks
- Establish and nurture strategic relationships with marine brokers, shipowners, and cargo interests
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging risks to inform underwriting decisions
- Prepare comprehensive risk reports and documentation ensuring regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with claims teams to resolve complex marine insurance disputes
- Contribute to product development for specialized marine insurance solutions
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of marine underwriting experience with H&M and cargo specialization
- Professional certification in Insurance (e.g., CII, ACII) or marine risk management
- Deep understanding of marine insurance markets, regulations, and industry standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to assess complex marine exposures
- Proven track record in portfolio development and profitability management
