Are you a skilled communicator looking to bridge the gap between technical expertise and strategic management? Mekar Armada Jaya is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Support Specialist to join our team in Tambun Selatan. In this pivotal role, you will act as the essential communication link between our Japanese expatriates (technical experts and management) and local operational teams.
As the primary point of contact for Japanese leadership, you will play a critical role in facilitating cross-cultural understanding, ensuring technical documentation is accurately translated, and supporting marketing initiatives that align with our global standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and possesses exceptional fluency in both Japanese and Indonesian, combined with a strong understanding of professional business etiquette.
Tanggung Jawab
- Serve as the primary interpreter and communication bridge between Japanese expatriates and local department heads.
- Facilitate effective information flow during technical meetings, management reviews, and marketing briefings.
- Translate technical documents, reports, and marketing materials from Japanese to Indonesian/English and vice versa.
- Support the marketing team in executing cross-functional projects by ensuring alignment with expatriate technical requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive meeting minutes and follow-up reports to ensure action items are documented and communicated.
- Assist in the onboarding and cultural orientation of new Japanese technical experts.
- Monitor market trends and provide local insights to support management decision-making processes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Literature, Business Management, Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum JLPT N2 certification or equivalent fluency in Japanese (verbal and written).
- Strong proficiency in Indonesian and English is required.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Deep understanding of Japanese business culture and professional etiquette (Omotenashi/Hou-Ren-So).
- Highly organized with excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and manage sensitive information with discretion.
