PT WAHANA INTI SELARAS is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our agricultural operations team in Jayapura, Papua. As a key member of our maintenance division, you will ensure the optimal performance of our John Deere agricultural fleet through expert inspection, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs. This role requires hands-on expertise with mechanical systems and a commitment to minimizing equipment downtime during critical farming seasons.
You will diagnose complex mechanical issues using diagnostic tools, troubleshoot hydraulic/electrical systems, and perform component replacements in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Our ideal candidate combines technical proficiency with safety consciousness, maintaining detailed service records while adhering to environmental protocols in Papua's unique operational conditions. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on John Deere agricultural equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system failures using diagnostic tools
- Perform preventive maintenance including fluid changes, filter replacements, and system calibrations
- Overhaul engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components per manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory documentation
- Collaborate with farm operations team to minimize equipment downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2 years experience in agricultural equipment maintenance
- John Deere certification or equivalent heavy machinery expertise preferred
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and mechanical troubleshooting techniques
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Physical stamina for fieldwork in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and mechanical aptitude test results
