- Conduct thorough follow-up on unpaid claims and resolve denials
- Verify patient eligibility and insurance coverage before service delivery
- Maintain detailed documentation of billing activities and correspondence
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate coding and documentation
- Stay updated on billing regulations and industry best practices
- Generate monthly billing reports for financial analysis
Kualifikasi
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in medical billing, behavioral health preferred
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Medisoft, Epic, or similar)
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems
- Strong analytical skills for denial resolution and claim optimization
- Excellent communication skills for insurer and client interactions
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification is a plus
