We are currently seeking an experienced Inpatient DRG Medical Coder to join our dynamic team in BGC, Taguig City. Tanggung Jawab
- Accurately assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for complex inpatient medical records.
- Ensure optimal DRG assignment while maintaining strict adherence to official coding guidelines and compliance standards.
- Review clinical documentation to identify and query physicians for missing or incomplete information.
- Maintain high levels of coding accuracy (95%+) and productivity standards.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve coding discrepancies and audit findings.
- Stay current with ongoing changes in coding regulations, compliance updates, and payer requirements.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to maintain departmental standards.
Kualifikasi
- Active certification from AAPC or AHIMA (e.g., CCS, CPC, or COC) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in Inpatient/DRG coding.
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer-assisted coding (CAC) tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex clinical data.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be willing to work on-site in BGC, Taguig City (Day Shift).
