Tanggung Jawab
- Review and analyze medical records to assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and coding guidelines (HIPAA, CMS)
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures
- Maintain accurate coding databases and documentation systems
- Conduct regular coding audits and quality assurance checks
- Stay updated on coding regulations through continuous education
- Process and submit claims with precision to optimize reimbursement
Kualifikasi
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent credential required
- 2+ years of medical coding experience in healthcare settings
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience with EHR/EMR coding platforms (Epic, Cerner preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
