Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for retail? AEON is seeking a dedicated and analytical Merchandiser/Buyer to lead our product strategy across Foodline, Softline, and Hardline categories in Kuala Lumpur. In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between consumer trends and our product assortment, driving sales and enhancing the customer shopping experience.
You will be responsible for identifying high-potential products to develop, managing the entire product lifecycle, and ensuring our shelves are stocked with the right items at the right time. By preparing monthly performance reviews and formulating counter-measures, you will play a critical role in optimizing promotional pricing and inventory levels to meet business targets.

Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and product opportunities within the assigned categories.
- Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies to drive sales growth and optimize the merchandise assortment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate closely with supply chain teams to ensure stock availability and minimize waste.
- Prepare monthly performance reviews, analyzing sales data to provide actionable counter-measures and recommendations.
- Plan and manage promotional activities, pricing strategies, and product launches to maximize profitability.
- Liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Ensure compliance with company merchandising standards and visual merchandising guidelines.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or category management within the retail or FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends accurately.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
