We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mould Drafter to join our manufacturing team in Batam. Blackmagic Design is a global leader in high-performance video equipment, and our success relies on precision engineering and superior manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for translating product designs into precise technical drawings for plastic injection molds, ensuring that every component meets our rigorous quality standards.
You will work closely with our mechanical engineers and production teams to develop efficient mold designs that optimize production flow and reduce costs. Tanggung Jawab
- Create accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings for plastic injection molds using CAD software.
- Perform design for assembly (DFA) and tolerance analysis to ensure manufacturability.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to refine mold designs for optimal performance.
- Review tooling drawings for compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including BOMs and assembly instructions.
- Assist in troubleshooting mold issues and implementing design improvements.
- Communicate technical requirements effectively to the toolroom and production staff.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Draughting.
- Proven experience as a Mould Drafter or Mechanical Drafter.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar 3D modeling software.
- Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Understanding of plastic injection molding processes and material properties.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
