We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join the Municipal Government of Balabagan, Lanao Del Sur as the Municipal Population Officer I (Department Head I). This is a full-time position within the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The successful candidate will serve as a key leader in the local government, responsible for the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of population programs, projects, and activities. You will lead a unit focused on demographic analysis, family planning, and community welfare, ensuring that the municipality's population policies align with national and regional development goals.
In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for population-related inquiries, coordinate with various government agencies and non-government organizations, and prepare comprehensive reports for municipal executives. We are looking for an individual who is not only knowledgeable in civil service regulations but also deeply committed to public service and community development.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the Municipal Population Program and related projects.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain accurate demographic data and population statistics for policy-making.
- Coordinate with barangay officials and health officers to track population growth and family planning initiatives.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports, budget proposals, and recommendations to the Municipal Mayor and Council.
- Ensure full compliance with the provisions of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and other government regulations.
- Organize and conduct information dissemination campaigns regarding population management and community welfare.
- Manage the unit's resources and supervise subordinate staff effectively.
Kualifikasi
- Must be a Filipino citizen and a graduate of any Bachelor's degree relevant to Social Sciences, Public Administration, or Development Studies.
- Must have at least one (1) year of relevant work experience in government or a related field.
- Must possess a valid Professional or Sub-professional Civil Service Eligibility.
- Must be willing to be assigned in the municipality of Balabagan, Lanao Del Sur.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Must be of good moral character and physically and mentally fit for government service.
