We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Music Therapist to join our clinical team.
In this role, you will utilize evidence-based music interventions to support the cognitive, emotional, and physical well-being of our beneficiaries. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement personalized music therapy treatment plans for individual beneficiaries and groups.
- Conduct regular assessment sessions to evaluate progress and adapt interventions accordingly.
- Facilitate therapeutic activities using voice, instruments, and music technology to address clinical goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and social workers to provide holistic care.
- Document sessions and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with THKMC standards.
- Organize and lead therapeutic group sessions aimed at improving social interaction and cognitive function among the elderly.
- Maintain and organize musical instruments and therapeutic equipment effectively.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Professional certification or eligibility for registration with a recognized music therapy association.
- Demonstrated experience in a clinical, healthcare, or aged-care setting.
- Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in at least one primary instrument (e.g., guitar, piano) and vocal improvisation.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage with beneficiaries from diverse backgrounds.
- Passionate about the social service sector and committed to THKMC’s mission of helping the community.
- Ability to work independently as well as contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
