Join Sunway Medical Centre's dynamic healthcare team as a Neuro & Sleep Technologist, where you'll play a pivotal role in diagnosing and managing neurological and sleep disorders. In this specialized position, you'll conduct comprehensive sleep studies (polysomnography) and neurodiagnostic procedures including EEG, EMG, and evoked potentials. Your expertise will ensure the collection of high-fidelity clinical data while maintaining exceptional patient care standards during overnight monitoring and diagnostic testing. You'll collaborate closely with neurologists and sleep specialists, interpreting complex physiological data to contribute to accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform polysomnography and neurodiagnostic tests (EEG, EMG, EP) per physician protocols
- Monitor patients during sleep studies, ensuring safety and data quality
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain diagnostic equipment ( polysomnography systems, EEG machines)
- Document test parameters, patient responses, and technical observations
- Analyze physiological data to generate preliminary reports for physician interpretation
- Provide patient education on procedures and address concerns during testing
- Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory compliance standards
Kualifikasi
- Diploma/Bachelor's in Neurodiagnostic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or related field
- Certification in polysomnography (RPSGT) or neurodiagnostic technology (CNIM) preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience in sleep lab or neurodiagnostics setting
- Strong knowledge of sleep disorders and neurological pathophysiology
- Proficiency in EEG/PSG equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Excellent patient interaction skills for diverse populations
- Ability to work flexible hours including overnight shifts
- Valid Malaysian medical technologist license
