Are you a creative innovator with a passion for the confectionery industry? Yupi Indo Jelly Gum, a leader in the gummy candy market, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented New Product Development (NPD) Supervisor to join our team in Tebet, Jakarta.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the end-to-end development of exciting new jelly gum products, from initial conceptualization and formulation to market launch. You will collaborate closely with R&D, Marketing, and Production teams to ensure our products not only taste great but also meet the highest quality standards and consumer demands. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the conceptualization and development process for new jelly gum products and flavor profiles.
- Manage the project timeline from idea generation to the pilot plant stage and final commercialization.
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to translate consumer insights into actionable product specifications.
- Conduct product testing and sensory evaluations to ensure alignment with brand quality and taste standards.
- Oversee costings and ingredient sourcing in partnership with the Procurement team.
- Ensure all new product formulations comply with local food safety regulations and quality protocols.
- Supervise a team of junior R&D staff, providing technical guidance and performance mentorship.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product development within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
- Deep understanding of confectionery manufacturing processes and food ingredient functionality.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple product launches simultaneously.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in sensory evaluation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-oriented environment.
