Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Conduct regular audits of infection control practices across clinical departments to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Provide expert clinical guidance and training to nursing and support staff regarding ASPICS and other infection control protocols.
- Manage the surveillance, investigation, and reporting of infectious disease outbreaks within the facility.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve clinical workflows and standardized patient care procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external audits and regulatory bodies concerning infection safety standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of all infection control interventions and compliance reports.
Kualifikasi
- Registered Nurse with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) practicing certificate.
- Post-graduate qualification in Infection Control or related specialized nursing field is highly preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience, with specific exposure to infection control, surveillance, or epidemiology.
- In-depth knowledge of ASPICS (Antimicrobial Stewardship) and local Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret clinical data and translate them into actionable safety improvements.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing staff at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and manage clinical priorities in a fast-paced primary care setting.
