The Municipal Government of Baliuag, Bulacan is seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Nutrition Officer III to join our public health team in the Ilocos Region. This critical role is designed for a professional passionate about public health policy, nutritional program implementation, and community well-being. As a Nutrition Officer III, you will serve as a technical lead, overseeing the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of local nutrition programs to combat malnutrition and promote healthy lifestyle interventions.
You will work closely with community health units, local government agencies, and stakeholders to ensure that nutrition initiatives are aligned with national standards and are effectively delivered to the community. Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, implement, and monitor comprehensive nutrition programs tailored to the community's specific health needs.
- Provide technical assistance and training to barangay health workers and local nutrition action officers.
- Conduct regular health and nutrition surveys to identify trends and evaluate the effectiveness of existing interventions.
- Develop and manage educational campaigns to promote proper nutrition and wellness among diverse demographic groups.
- Prepare technical reports, policy briefs, and performance assessments for municipal health authorities.
- Coordinate with regional health offices to ensure compliance with national nutritional policies and guidelines.
- Manage logistical requirements and budgetary allocation for community-based feeding and intervention programs.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a closely related field.
- Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian (RND) with an active license.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in public health nutrition or community development programs.
- Strong understanding of Philippine public health policies and local government administrative procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Office Suite for program reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
