Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify clients' functional limitations and strengths.
- Develop and implement individualized, client-centered intervention plans to address cognitive, physical, psychosocial, and sensory components affecting occupational performance.
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions, including activity-based treatments, adaptive strategies, and assistive device recommendations.
- Educate clients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment use, and home modifications to promote independence and safety.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team (e.g., social workers, doctors, physiotherapists) to ensure integrated and holistic care plans.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records, progress reports, and documentation in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Advocate for clients' needs and facilitate their integration into community activities and resources.
Kualifikasi
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Valid full or conditional registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) Singapore.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably within a community or social service setting.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) to engage effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to serve vulnerable populations.
- Proficiency in using common office software and electronic health record systems.
