Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage all daily ocean import operations, ensuring efficient and timely processing of shipments from origin to destination.
- Supervise the accurate and timely preparation, submission, and processing of all required import documentation, including Bills of Lading, manifest declarations, and customs clearance documents.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of import coordinators/executives, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key customers regarding import status, inquiries, and issue resolution, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate closely with shipping lines, overseas agents, customs brokers, warehouses, and internal departments to facilitate smooth import processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to all import regulations, customs laws, and company policies, proactively addressing any compliance risks.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Generate and analyze operational reports on import volume, performance metrics, and compliance to inform strategic decision-making.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in ocean import operations within the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- In-depth knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, customs regulations in Indonesia, and documentation requirements.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills with a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant logistics software/systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
