We are seeking a dynamic and driven Officer, Student Recruitment and Business Development to join our team. While based at our Miri campus, this pivotal role focuses on expanding our footprint and driving student enrollment specifically within the Sabah region.
As a key member of the recruitment team, you will act as a brand ambassador, bridging the gap between prospective students and their future academic success. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales-oriented professional who enjoys travel, networking, and making a tangible impact on the lives of young learners. You will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, managing stakeholder relationships, and executing high-impact recruitment strategies to meet institutional targets.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive student recruitment strategies to achieve enrollment targets for the Sabah market.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with secondary schools, colleges, and educational agencies across Sabah.
- Organize and represent Curtin University at education fairs, career talks, and promotional workshops.
- Provide expert academic counseling and career guidance to prospective students and their parents.
- Manage the end-to-end lead conversion process, from initial inquiry to successful enrollment, using CRM tools.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the region.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create localized promotional materials and social media content.
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment progress, market feedback, and ROI of promotional activities.
Kualifikasi
- A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or student recruitment within the higher education sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- A proactive, self-motivated individual who can work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Sabah and work flexible hours during peak recruitment seasons.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid driver's license is essential.
